Neue Mitbewohnerin eingezogen
Ach übrigens: Die zweite Mitbewohnerin, von der ich erzählt hatte, ist eingezogen. Aber seht selbst:
Das ist übrigens ein Test der Bild-Hosting-Seite [23](http://23hq.com). Ich möchte nämlich weg von zooomr. So toll [zooomr](http://zooomr.cim) auch ist, und so vielversprechend deren Neustart gelungen ist: Es funktioniert einfach praktisch nichts auf der Seite. Die SmartSets, wie Alben da heißen, tun es von Tag zu Tag schlechter, an allen Enden bekommt man Fehlermeldungen… Und dann noch ein Update auf eine neue, ach-so-tolle Version, das im zweiten Anlauf statt 24 Stunden die Seite gleich mal anderthalb Wochen vom Netz genommen hat, nur um danach umso fehlerhafter und mit größtenteils fehlenden oder fehlerhaften Funktionen wiederzukommen - nein danke. 23 hat nicht nur den cooleren Namen (23! Illuminati! Verschwörung! Juchu!) und sitzt in Kopenhagen, sondern funktioniert. Es hat zwar insgesamt weniger beeindruckende Funktionen, aber die funktionieren wenigstens. Nur eine Einbindung in [Digikam](http://digikam.org), wie sie mit [flickr](http://flickr.com) funktioniert, fehlt mir noch. Aber das soll auch irgendwie gehen 
Und die Fotoalben-Einbindung find ich toll, damit werd ich noch viel experimentieren. Hab extra schon das Blog breiter gemacht dafür. Wenn es also Probleme gibt: Einfach Bescheid sagen.

The flickr integration is Digikam ought to work with 23 as well. Simply add this to your /etc/hosts (provided of course that you’re in Linux, Mac or something similar):
193.238.25.3 flickr.com api.flickr.com http://www.flickr.com static.flickr.com
After having done so Digikam will export your photos to 23 rather than flickr. A minor drawback, of course, is that you won’t be able to access flickr an longer. But hey, who would want to do that
You could also urge the nice people who are programming digikam to include support for 23 in their product; it’s should take them more that ten minutes. (It’s documented here: http://www.23hq.com/doc/api/switch)

Well, I’m on Linux and deleted my Flickr account the other day (due to these censorship and China issues…), so I’ll just try it.

I already tried the Linux Uploader, but my firewall somehow doesnt seem to like it.
But the hint about editing /etc/hosts works just fine. Uploading with Digikam now works perfect. And because I left static.flickr.com out (it isn’t referenced anywhere in the flickr uploader-plugin for Digikam), I can still see flickr pix embedded on other pages.
And thanks for the coupons! I’ll devote another blog post to these
